Major subject: Piano

In the piano degree program, students usually receive two hours of major subject instruction per week. In addition, chamber music and other compulsory minor subjects are part of the curriculum.

In addition to the artistic degree program, there is a pedagogically oriented piano program specifically designed to prepare students for a career as a piano teacher. In addition to major subject instruction, the curriculum particularly includes subjects such as piano pedagogy, conducting (basics), and teaching practice.
